Toward the further dismantling of public education -- that is, the dismantling of mechanisms of democratic accountability, the infiltration of private and corporate interests, and the further segmentation and segregation of schools via the discourse of choice – the expansion of charter schools in St. Louis will continue apace (though you need public schools to contain the most "challenging" students):
